Wendy Niles is an ECOP Peer Navigator for the Chesterfield County ECOP Program. She is located at the Chesterfield County Jail. Wendy is a Registered Peer Recovery Specialist through the Virginia Board of Counseling. Her primary goal with George Mason University is to assist rapidly released inmates who suffer from SUD with resources in the community during their recovery process. She also bridges these individuals for MAT services through the Mason and Partners Clinics.  Wendy has been with George Mason University since November 2022.  

Before coming to Mason, Wendy worked as a Peer Navigator at True Recovery RVA doing Rec Cap for the HARP Program at the Chesterfield County Jail. True Recovery is a local recovery organization located in Henrico, Va. She was also a house manager for True Recovery RVA, overseeing women new to recovery by guiding them in their recovery process. Wendy is very passionate about helping people during their recovery journey and has been for some time now. She is very dedicated to her mission.
