Lauren Ball (she/her/hers) is a full time ECOP Peer Navigator in the School of Nursing and College of Public Health. She has worked in a variety of venues, including nonprofit, business, and entrepreneurial startups. Ball is recognized for being a highly effective motivator, communicator, and collaborator with the ability to build trust in one-to-one relationships and across organizational levels.
Prior to coming to George Mason, Ball was a Peer Recovery Specialist for Substance Abuse for the Rappahannock Area Community Services Board. At RACSB she facilitated peer support groups, did outreach, and assisted individuals with developing action planning for prevention and recovery. Ball also has extensive experience as a peer in mental health and wellness programs. ECOP Prince William is thrilled to have her join the team!
