Ms. Allison West is the Program Coordination Manager/Administrator at George Mason University’s Mason and Partners (MAP) Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Clinic. Her role involves overseeing various public health projects with the Empowered Communities Opioid Project (ECOP) and assisting with community-based participatory research focusing on cross-sector health equity initiatives. She plays a crucial role in monitoring the implementation of program policies and procedures, compiling necessary information, and coordinating participants' care effectively.  

One of Ms. West's key responsibilities is collaborating with stakeholders of diverse criminal justice and community support systems. This collaboration aims to collect appropriate data, provide support for program sites, and ensure the fidelity of program implementation. Her work contributes significantly to strengthening community health systems, enhancing the skills of the health workforce, and delivering community-based care and treatment in health districts across the Commonwealth of Virginia.  

Before her current role at George Mason University, Ms. West gained valuable experience as a Probation and Parole Officer for the Virginia Department of Corrections. This background equips her with a deep understanding of the criminal justice system and enables her to engage with stakeholders in her current position effectively.
